UNISON Yorkshire Ambulance Branch was formed on 1st July 2006 following the merger of three former ambulance services into Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

UNISON YAS membership represents a large proportion of the 4,670 staff from all departments including operational staff, fleet, ancillary, clerical and support services.
