Standby Points

Dear member,

It has been brought to the attention of UNISON that staff are been asked to standby at new none facilitated points which have not been jointly risk assessed.

UNISON has not been consulted with regards these standby points. Members if asked to attend new standby point they should carry out a dynamic risk assessment. If members feel it would be inappropriate to standby, they should in line with the standby policy contact EOC directly. Vehicles may roam around a standby point with agreement with EOC within a six-minute drive zone.
